Ok so.
Orange Aisle.
It took 5 years but they did it.
A backed up, long awaited return from a time of great peace
In 2020 they couldn’t refine the first release. A collection of songs for the minute. But they’ve done it now.
This is a could be, a should be, why the hell is it not more for me type album.
I’m confused.
Amused.
Not disappointed. No.
This is music for the modern day.
The attention fleeting, the 3 second hook generation.
It’s the random musical prowess you hear between soundchecks.
The try this sample pack.
Actually, that’s exactly what this is. It is a sample pack.
A really well executed, show me more sample pack.
Ok I’ve led you on.
Because I feel injustice.
Can I explain.
It’ll take 60 seconds.
Hit play on Accessible Album. Yes. That is correct.
How do you feel?
Like the time I spent all my youth so heavily invested in Kung Pow. And then during the credits they created the greatest trailer to ever exist for a sequel they never had intention to create.
Why is life like this.
I felt things in the space of this album. I felt inspired. Ready for more.
And now I sit here just confused and alone. In their own words - “At the end of our extensive hour long recording session, we had whittled the material down to about 180 seconds of audio.
The band then debated back and forth for a week on which 60 seconds worth would make the cut.
At this point no one is on speaking terms and likely we’ll be going on another 5 year hiatus.”
Will we see a return.
At this stage, I feel retirement will strike and as I’m sitting in a home somewhere, the news will announce it.
I need to never take this for granted.
Maybe this is the way to get on the ARIA charts for album streams.
I’d stream this a few hundred times in a day but they may think it’s a bot farm.
Art is art.
Try this one out for yourself,
No one is so time poor that 60 seconds isn’t achievable.
You just spent more than 60 seconds reading this
Speed run it - Go!
