OH YOU MUST BE BORED, YOU ENDED UP HERE.

Well seeing as though you have some time to kill. Here’s a little bit about One Volume.

We started as a promotional platform, I (Dan), I’m solo here. I was seeing countless names forever being promoted as playing shows here in town and never knew anything about them. The silly algorithms were never going to show me something till I did the work. So now I do the work and I do it for others. I write about these Artists, the stories, the music. I almost meditate on music, it’s weird but I love it.

Please note, I’m 33, I have two kids, a wife, bills to pay, life is full of motion, but when I sit down to listen to music, it all stops for me, I have a whole world to discover. So go easy on me, time is precious, fleeting, and worth spending on the joys we have.

I love this little scrapbook of a project, it’s created so many things, inspired so many others and helped a tonne of live music and new releases get discovered. So keep me in mind, I’ll do my best. I hope you continue to create the beautiful noise that you do. We so desperately need more of it in this life.
